    Hi Bryan.

I am not arguing against your ideology. If it were possible to "use memetic engineering for peaceful means" I would be all for it. And if you are successful in starting a movement that achieves that objective, well and good. At some point your group's culture will generate group specific memes These may be related to the "peace" ideal, but they will more likely be related to the groups functionality and internal politics. None of them will have been created "intentionally", and you will not have the ability to control them. This is the nature of the meme.

    Regards,

I agree that memes have been engineered by advertising and governments.
what I am proposing is that we use memetic engineering for peaceful means to
stop war and save lives. I think that this is a much more noble cause than
      selling underwear or cola.
