    How?

Via retrovectors somehow picking up on some nucleic acid based information
in neuron(s) that maps complexly, indirectly or sloppily to an acquired and
adaptive behavioral state and shuttling this to the germline? At least
mature lymphocytes are genetically different (wrt immunoglobulin genes) from
their precursors stemming from the germline.

Via methylation states in DNA (epialleles) passing to progeny?

Via somatic induction, kinda like an engram or mnenom passing from a somatic
cell (eg- neuron) to a germ cell?

Via Darwin's conception of pangenesis and gemmules or Haeckel's notion of
    perigenesis and plastidules?

    Via morphic resonance?

You've got to get more explicit and find evidence to back your claim. With
the above suggestions, I can't say I've seen anything convincing with
    behavioral implications.

There's also the Baldwin effect of James Mark Baldwin, the phenocopy of
Richard Goldschmidt (co-opted by Piaget), and genetic assimilation of Conrad
Waddington, but these notions need not be cast in a (neo)-Lamarckian light,
even if they happened to be fruitful beyond armchair conceptions.

I'm open, but not yet convinced. Convince me....
