3.11 Symbol search

The final feature this written tutorial will introduce is the find symbol facility. This is very useful for finding all occurrences of a clause, when you are renaming it or changing its syntax.

Select the find symbol command from the Browse menu on the Workbench browser. Enter price in Specify symbol dialogue that comes up. You will get a browser, select the Rulebases button at the top, then one of the Types: listed and then one of the Items:. It will look something like this.

The lower right hand pane will show the rule part with the symbol. You can browse the rule using the command button in the bottom left pane.
