Logic is simply a distillation of perception; in fact, the four laws of
thought are abstracted from presence to perception, i.e., 1) If A
then A (if it's (the object of perception) present, then it's present),
    2) If Not-A, then Not-A (if it's absent, then it's absent), 3) Either A
or Not-A (either it's present or it's absent) and 4) Not both A and
Not-A (it can't be simultaneously present and absent. If such rules
are memes, then they're Universal ones.

It is tautological, but nonetheless (and actually a forteriori) true,
that to be self-conscious is to be conscious of a self. Recursivity
in a perceptual entity mandates such self-conscious awareness.
