    It is _all_ and ever has been, spectator sports. There are those who
    would insist that baseball requires a higher class of observation, and
    thus observer, than gladiator sports like football or boxing or the
    original gladiators cum lions and tigers and bears, but, really, any
    stadia will do.

    And not much has changed- there were box seats and hot and cold running
    waitresses for the executive set back in Rome, too. Even air conditioning
    and a roof, from recent studies of the Coliseum. Culture happens.

    But, speaking memetically and contemporarily about spectator sports,
    'Rollerball' is being remade, even as we speak, albeit sans John Houseman
    or Ralph Richardson.
