<< Well, I think your right here. The difference between the discussion now
and then is just that, the distinction between public morality and private
morality. But on the other hand, we never get that far either.
Anyway, IMO, the same question remains, what makes the difference
between public and private morality, if, like here in Belgium we have
reality shows like Big Brother, where 10 people has to live together in a
house for a few weeks. The winner takes it all.
But the main reason why people kept seeing this, was the sex....!!!
Each episode was live and when those candidates went to bed, the whole
country was asking the question who will do it with who !?
By my knowledge only one person made it...she did maturbate...at least
we heard the sounds....!
So, you could expect that we are now more tolerant for things like
sex and masturbation, but no, the same taboos are still here and talking
about your private sex life and private parts is even today a taboo.
But we have no problem watching the show though !!
The contradiction towards sex stays the same, we watch shows like that,
but a program listed in the TV journals about people who likes to watch
pornography the whole day long was cancelled, due to reasons of the
public being offended !!
Even now, a new show is running, 5 girls are spied upon with spy- cams,
and the main attraction is yes, once again....sex !!
Bisexual, lesbian,...what is it good for...!?
Well, high viewers rankings that 's for sure !!
But the same question keeps poppin ' up, why do we not have problems
watching girls make it with eachother and why do we have problems if
someone asks us out of the blue if our sex life is Ok !?
By the way, I don 't watch the shows, I only read the reviews....
Best regards,
Kenneth
