The rise in human capabilities is not because any human individual has
become smarter than earlier but we are standing on the shoulder of
previous generations.
We have only become better at recording ,storing and disseminating
information.
So all human advances can be attributed to information technology although
the word itself got coined only recently at Carnegie mellon
