    No reason to think that with a bit of encouragement high school kids can't
    do original research. Witness the Westinghouse/Intel Science competition in

    That's too narrow! I doubt there are any websites, books or articles
    that deal specifically with ingenuity and memetics. I'd have thought
    that, for a high school project, an overview of the whole field would
    be much more appropriate.
