I agree. It's easy to dive in and fire something off as an emotional
reaction. It's a little more difficult to restrain yourself, and
refrain from responding. Most difficult is to respond, but thoughtfully,
keeping your cool, and saying nothing that you might come to regret.
That's the most difficult option, but also, I find, the most rewarding.
Except in certain cases, luckily a fairly small minority, where to
respond in any way is always a mistake!
