    "Free world." Now there's a meme that's on the decline.

    Anyway, Bush is in competition for that title with Reagan and Truman.
    I don't know about "leader of the free world", but among U. S.
    Presidents Warren G. Harding was no lightbulb, and Benjamin Harrison
    didn't know enough to come in out of the rain. (He insisted on giving
    his long-winded inaugural address in a downpour on a cold day, came down
    with pneumonia or something, and died.)
