You just provided a terrific example of differing perceptions, Bob:
I thought it was very clear that we were thoroughly split on where the
meme resides, some saying "only in the brain", others "only in behaviour",
and others still (like me) in both brain and behaviour.
But I don't think these differences are in themselves evidence for or
against any particular theory, as mutation can occur at almost any
stage.
