    Not that such a thing would make bigotry against Arabs and Muslims right, because it doesn't, but isn't there a fair share of bigotry directed against Muslims in places such as Saudi Arabia? How easily could a non-Muslim travel to Mecca and view the Kaaba meteorite? What difficulties would a non-Muslim male have in having a relationship with a Saudi Muslim female?

    OTOH, at least previous to 9-11, Saudis have been able to come to the U.S. and though there's some degree of ignorant bigotry over here, they could even do things such as meet American women and see the various parts of our country unimpeded by religious stricture and with no religious police to make sure they were on the correct path.

    There's a tad of asymmetry I'd say.
