So the idea is that probe drifted to prove? Oh! Hmmm. When I was at the
University of Chicago more years ago than I care to remember, they used proved
all the time. I kinda like my use of it, but I think I will avoid it from now
on. I suspect it confuses more than clarifies.
(PS: Does Saybrook communicate at all with the College of the Atlantic in
Maine, or is that conceptually to far away?)
