    Yes there is.
    We have been discussing how memes develop and how in a dynamic language one
    meaning to start -- ends as something totally different. Howz about a new
    language that is evolving right before our eyes and we are either ignoring
    it ... or to use another metaphor .. we can't see the trees for the forest.

    And that is ??????? "chat - speak" ???????

    an example LOL = laughing out loud; ROFLMAO = Rolling on floor laughing my
    --- off", etc.

    These are being developed, and we have used them here ( IMHO ), as a time
    reduction device. However, I have heard them in the language as well.
