1.5 A quick look at SDML charts


Changing the names of the variables does not matter as long as it is done consistently.

Change the text in the left hand pane and evaluate:

fixedCost ?z ?fc\

marginalCost ?z ?mc\

inInterval ?x 0 100 10\

is ?y ?fc + ?x * ?mc

Here you get the same result but with the different variables. Select all of this clause and use the mouse command button to copy it. Then select the Line Chart tab, and paste the text into the middle pane. Select this text and then use the command button to evaluate it. You should get a graph of the various total costs. (?z, ?x and ?y are special variables when used in graph panes). Then go back to the Experiment page.
