    I pour that into my little shaker, the one with 'To a life without
    memes!' in it, and I'm not sure what they mix to.

    I used to more mean 'to a life without preconceptions!' - a view I saw as
    noble and pristine, humanistic and free. Still do, of course, but, now,
    with my own workable definition of 'memes' being actual physical
    artifacts (thus, yes, entirely cultural and entirely a product of homo
    sapiens- because, regardless of anthropomorphic wishful thinking, no
    other species has produced a meme), I'm not so sure I could have a life
    without any, and I most certainly must declare that memes exist. Even if
    I like being arch.
