Cheers Ken - that was marvellous (and a lot of typing). I'll have to do
some digging now you've started me off so well. I agree with Vincent
about that guy - the stuff he said about Ankor Watt was a joke, as was
what he said about the Nazca(?) lines in S.America (about as silly as
Von Daniken(?)), but I have to admit I was intrigued by the pyramid
thing; not that I swallow his version wholesale, it's just that I wasn't
overly convinced that everything had been explained by the opposition -
and remember Moses (another middle class revolutionary) came from Egypt
into history - with a little help from Santorini.
Does anyone know of similar antecedents of Islam?
