How can you walk the earth and find it a sphere? Even methaporicaly
speaking, I can suggest a number of topological shapes that would
exhibit the properties of coming back to the beggining if you move in
straight line away from it, and none of these can be properly called a
    sphere?
As for you meeting a fraud, how scientific is it to label such a
widespread phenomenon as hypnosis as a fraud if you have encountered,
how many exactly? fradulent practitioners of hypnosis?

Please do: my experience with them was very mixed, but the theories
behind some of their techniques seem valid, and worth exploring. I try
not to value ideas by the same values I ascribe to their human
    creators.
