what is the memetic take on taboo?
just another meme, but with different methods of transmission?
I'm writing about constitutional conventions at the moment, which depend largely
on unspoken 'agreements' (the agreement being implicit, it's hard to identify who
are parties to it) that certain issues or contradictions (between law and
democracy, for example) are kept in abeyance.
