Last I heard he had tried to open up a chain of fast-food joints called
Hamster Hamlet. Unfortunately, his choice of food products led to referring
to him as "Hamster the Hannibal," and, memetically, a sharp reversal of
early promising sales trends. But because of the Hannibal's unique grip on
the hamster-meat market, the US Justice Department launched an intensive
investigation into possible anti-trust behavior. Meanwhile, the social
situation is spinning out of control, as parents are putting two-and-two
together--the disappearance of their children's pet hamsters with Hamster
Hamlet's business activities--and drawing unfortunate and as yet unproved
conclusions. Hamster the Hannibal himself has withdrawn physically to the
safety of his 45-room underground mansion, and spiritually to the bosom of
his new Hamster Foundation, dedicated to curing universal suffering.
