    Yes, but is this mutilation convincing evidence against (neo)-Lamarckian
    phenomena which in itself is extendable to cover *all* of nature? We know, I
    suppse, that tail chopping in rodents doesn't have noticeable heritable
    effects on progeny.

    to be open minded, whwn possible. There's a difference between being
    unconvinced and being dogmatically unconvincable.
