What a delight to receive this description of where you live, Robin. It adds
context and tangibles to your emails. I full well understand the
relationship between net worth and net connection. :-)

    Stay warm.

I live in central Scotland, 4 miles up a single-track road, on an
exposed hillside overlooking the Forth Valley, at about 600 ft elevation.
Other UK list members might be guessing by now that I'm about to mention
the weather. We've been snowed-in here for two days now, which is why
I've been able to be so active on the list. But that is about to change.
There are several reasons why I need to be out-and-about tomorrow and
for the rest of the week, and a JCB (digger) made it up the road this
afternoon, and rain is forecast overnight, and some of the things I'm
going to get busy doing require some preparation, this evening.

Which means, I can't keep it up!! Apologies to anyone disappointed
by that -- I know many of you will be distraught, but what can I do??
I have to bring in some money or my net connection will be cut!!!!
I'll be back soon, though. ;-)
