Aha! Getting warmer.....
Zh Obshch Biol 1988 Mar-Apr;49(2):255-62
The nature of the social relations of male Tryon strain rats (Tryon maze

In Russian and with no abstract..... Not our lucky day. However, I suspect
in this case that by 'social relations of male ... rats' they simply mean
how the rats attack, defend or cower when placed in cages together. Adult
male rats have very little to say to each other apart from 'get off my
patch!'
