            Without wishing to draw any further ire from William on the subject,
    but I can't see why this couldn't be a factor, Lawrence.

            I think undoubtedly there are a range of relevant factors in the
    relative transmission success of different religions. If the contents of a
    religious doctrine are not the most significant deterministic factors in a
    religion's success, I still can't see them as being irrelevant.
