What a fascinating article. But the thought kept coming to me that science and, call it mysticism, should get together on this.
In ancient days the mystics were the scientists and the scientists were the mystics. Only once more and more of physical science was understood and 'proven', did they split into two groups.
But now is the time, in this new age, where many scientists are getting deeper thoughts than those relating to physical science, the two should get back together again and become one 'science', or maybe one 'mysticism'. We could even call it scientific mysticism, are whatever variation one could think of.
This combined knowledge, not like TWO different kinds of knowledge thrown together, but as a duality, as ONE, may just find the answer to what consciousness really is - and from there, eventually, all the secrets of the Universe, the Cosmos.
    Regards,
    Dini
