    Oh, on that you are surely correct. I had no intention of continuing on in
    this vein. But every once in awhile I like to drop in and say my standard
    piece. The Wimsatt abstract John Wilkins posted seemed like a good
    opportunity.

    I figure regulars on the list who have any interest in my work have already
    read it and made whatever use, if any, they're going to make of it. While I
    do have quite a bit more to say on these matters, that's all going into my
    book on music, which will be out next summer. Once that becomes available
    I'll get really annoying on this.
