It is an interesting comment, moreso because I tend to see no other
benefit at all from beliefs and practices other than feeling good-
establishing some form of identity in the world via community.
Regardless, there is no reason to privilege any one of the myriad beliefs
that are out there- to the contrary- as beliefs they deserve no special
treatment. Personally, I would like them all to be replaced with
knowledge rather than myths, but that's my, um, belief....
