    There is a large body of work using genetic algorithms and various dynamic programming /system dynamics maths in memetics, iirc there is a journal for this too.

    I didn't find any instructions for posting in the majordomo message, so I'll try just responding. I've been poking around the memetics web site, looking for any attempt to make memetics more rigorous by the use of some kind of mathematics.

    Has any of this been done?
