I have no idea of why. If you use "information" in the technical sense,
then it is discrete units measured in bits. Of course you don't have to
use these units all the time any more than electronics uses electrons, but
bits underlies information much as electrons underlie electricity.

Without reading it, I can't be sure, but chances are that Human Nature
Review would publish it. If it has an evolutionary psychology bent, there
are some reviewed online journals that might be appropriate.

Hmm. Try "Standard Social Science Model" in Google if you are not already
familiar with it.
