Thanks for the good NLP source list, Chris.

The source you had the question mark on is:

Alfred Korzybski, SCIENCE AND SANITY. It was first published in 1933. My
edition is the 3rd, 1948, published by the Institute of General
Semantics. It has been periodically republished, but I don't know who has
    the latest edition.

To your list I would add:

Jay Haley, ed., ADVANCED TECHNIQUES OF HYPNOSIS AND THERAPY: Selected
Papers of Milton H. Erickson, M.D., NY: Grune & Stratton, 1967

There is also a set of video tapes of Erickson at work, but I don't have
    any leads on them.

Despite the fascinating work of Erickson, I find the cognitive
change patterns to be the most interesting of the various techniques
    gathered by NLP.
