whose eye beheld it as spam? Is there a FAQ available as to what is acceptable and what will be considered spam?

I considered the ads as an elegant usage of the subversion of the US Drug War ads for a different purpose. Michel Certeau referred to the subversion of recognizeable icons for other purposes as
'poaching', and the ads appear to me to be a textbook exercise in guerilla memetics.
