    No, I haven't; a contained needs a container. And I have not multiplied entities beyond necessity; rather, the perdurance of the selfsame meme between tokens of a performance type is indeed a logical necessity.

    You have so over-reduced that you would compare us with sea slugs. But we can think so much more than they can, and because of that, we can do much more. The functions of the mind are, among other things, the modification and storage of memes between performances. If a choreographer thinks of an extra step in a routine and then performs it, you would have to call the addition an accidental mistake, because your behavior-only stance cannot allow the meme to mentally inhere. This forecloses not onlty token repetitions of types, but the mutation upon which selection works in order to effect evolution.
