My apologies for my silence: I am at work tracking the memetic erosion of
the adminstration's post-Sept 11 policies, and tracking the
Palestinian-Israeli situation. The latter leaves me quite sad, as the dance
of death that both parties are locked into shows no sign of abating, and
leaves little room for rational thinking about more peaceful alternatives.
The fact that the memetic pickings are rich does not alleviate the sadness.
