I wondered also about the anti-abortion, anti-contraception connection you
note. I went down to a Washington anti-abortion rally a few years ago and
asked several demonstrators about his: I think some of them equated the
'murder' of fetuses with the 'murder' of potential pregnancy/brith. Others
were simply more interested in preventing abortion than in crafting
comprehensive policies that would include contraception.
