That's exactly my point. He did get 20 percent of the vote, but, as they say,
close but no cigar. To win you need to also look like a politician despite what
people say about that. People sensed he wouldn't get anything done because he
was speaking to a very narrow band of people. He would have had to change his
propganda AND his mode of operation to gain broader confidence, and he couldn't
- because he was using the kind of rhetoric he used in his corporation.
Remember, he ran his corporation like a military operation, demanding standard
haircuts and other such things. You can't be a politician with such a mentality
and your attempt at propganda signals you can't.
