Dear members,
Something very disturbing is happened.
I am trying now for a whole week to mail a message to the list concerning an
essay I wrote. I would have liked that all members could read it and maybe
have opened a discussion about it.
But, it seems that my message is hold back at the level of the human site
manager, I don't like that !
Reason, it is to long (3 x A4 format) !! There are indeed longer items on the
list,you know !!
What disturbs me the most, is that vital information is hold back not for me,but to all members of this list !
It is the purpose of the list, I presume to filter out what is vital or not, isn't !?
If there are messages which are not vital, not interesting or whatever, it is to the members to decide if they are or not ! Not a strange hand who makes the choise for us. That is what I call censorship !
The consequence, may be, is that very important information is already lost, and that people who had this info has lost their interest in memetics, even worse are now our ennemies !
Of course, it could be that is the policy on this list ,but dear members, think
about it ! We discuss memetics, it seems there are strong contra-memes working here !
I hope this message will convince the people out there to put my message
trought; I repeat, it is giving to the members of this list to decide if the
message brings anything new to the search into memetics or not !!
Be warned !
Kenneth
