I think you agree on most of it and have most of it right. Robin's model is
through the eyes of information and Joes is through the eyes of meaning.
Neither one exactly matches the eye of the meme, but they're both pretty
close. Dennett frequently says "Mother Nature is cleverer than you are."
Meme evolution is klugy. I don't think it fits neatly in one package. Memes
will propagate through any means possible.
