We should not! But I think we should try to fit in the idea of morphogenetic fields
into the theory about memetics.
Example:
_From it's own specific morphogenetic fields, the certain way in which youngsters
wear their baseball-cap backward would manifest itself as a new leap forward in
the evolution, let's say in clothes fashion,at the same time at different places on
earth.
This behaviour would accordingly the theory about morphogenetic fields manifest
itself all over the world more or less in a sudden way_without imition, because
the vogue is then a step forward in the evolution process of fashion.
The problem we face now,is that in memetics imition is important. If the vogue to
wear the baseball-cap backward didn't came into existence by imition,as the
above-mentioned example suggested, how can we than explain its in other con-
cepts described memetic origin!?
Or is this, once more, from the meme-meme eye view a trick or should we count
in the possibility that the concept of morphogenetic fields is connected with the
theory that surrounders memetics!?
Send in your replies,
Kenneth
