Well, yes. With twins, there is a great deal of those pesky genetic
variations removed- twins are almost a control group and an experiment
group in one. This has always been their charm for experimental use.
Now- if we can only remove all the variations involved with choosing
toothpastes, the day will dawn brightly.
But, yes, I do concur that we are not talking about 'quantum things
mysteriously happening at a distance'. Until shown otherwise, of course.
Occam does like looking at this genetically, though. Even to taste
propensity, because the taste of the toothpaste _could_ be considered one
of the paramount determinants of choice, assuming they have both tasted
others, and assuming they aren't just choosing for price, and....
