Okay, toothpaste might be arguably genetic, assuming that they really were
choosing them based on taste, and had really run a taste test of all
available brands. The eeriness has extended to less obviously genetic
things, however, such dressing style, home decorations, even names of pets
and significant others. I think Occam would have more trouble with a genetic
explanation for some of that.
