Well, my excuses for this lapse. I did define memes differently (See:
http://www.sepa.tudelft.nl/webstaf/hanss/nature.htm ). Just to say that
meme has been used to include only some stories: untrue stories like
superstitions, religions, jokes which spread basically for emotional
reasons.
However, since everyone keeps using meme in a more general way, I
usually stick to this generally used 'definition'. Only this time I used
it in the manner I think of it often. It just slipped my mind.
