Hi Keith,
Don 't apologise ! Not one of my best I admit.
I agree of course that both diseases find their caus(es) in gene failure.
My intention was to show that memes/ thoughts, in a sense the working
of the brain based upon how memes/ thoughts interact, can be the
cause of why the patients condition deteriorates.
Parkinson- disease patients needs dopamine, Alzheimer- disease patients
lack a certain amount of another neurotransmitter, acetylcholine.
It is my opinion, can be wrong though, that if braincells begin to fail and
cause either way Parkinson or Alzheimer- disease that with those cells
connected memes/ thoughts/ memeplexes also begin to fail.
I am not not saying that is the way it should be, but the lack of movement,
demention, the entanglement,... can be related to the malfunction of those
plexes and not so more to the prime genetic disorder. It could be a vicious
circle. Obvious logic I suppose....
But, on the other hand, based on what I know about those diseases, it
seems atleast to me, that the gene- failure suppress meme/ thought-
activity.
The experiments with L- dopa show that thoughts/ memes were not des-
troyed, just in a way dormant. But the failure of the genes never stops and
in the end no amount of the named neurotransmitters can help.
And, Paul Ewald, argues, that most cancers, heart disease and other
chronic ills stem from infections.
Alzheimer might be my way of getting rid of the organism way of manipu-
lating my body to maximize its chances of passage to the next victim,
for example, by increasing the sensibility for neurogenerative illness.
That is, by manipulating the healthcare for the eldery ( more eldery people
survive these days) you increase the chances of Alzheimer surviving.
And if it is infectious, and maybe a virus of some kind, it will adapt.
In a way, the increase of Parkinson- disease by far more younger people
would be such an adaptation.
