Thank you, Stephen. My own experience in the entertainment industries in
Hollywood bears out your observation that liberalism is, indeed, the new
conservatism. The liberal "elite" in Hollywood most certainly police
behavior, and there are actually very rigid "rules," if you will, regarding
what is correct and what is not.
Now in California, conservatives play the role that would have been that of
liberals when I was growing up. It's truly all just one reacting to the
other and the push/pull of societal pressures - all depending on which
society you're in. The interesting thing is the movement of young people of
both sexes and all races who are becoming "conservative" in reaction to the
oppressive grip of the liberal power structure in Hollywood.
