    On the 12th of December, I successfully chanced upon the posting of the
    first part of my piece raising the question of the applicability
    of memetics to practical examples. And I promised to post the second part,
    but for some reason, following several attempts, have not been able to.

    Well, I don't know whether my posts are being blocked by design (filtered?)
    or by server error.

    Not to be deterred, I am now going to try to fulfill the rest of my
    promise, for which no doubt, everyone has been hanging out impatiently. ;-)
    Hopefully this bite-sized post should make it past any server glitches.

    My omission of key identifier words, as much as is practicable, is
