    Hi Kenneth Van Oost -

    >you can round this up by calculating
    >asymmetry into your equations.

I thought it was perfectly clear that I don't do equations.... Didn't get
through calculus, although that might be because I tried it late, well
after high school and college. And I still don't have a clue what it is.

Design demands something that evolution never will- a designer. But, yes,
so many of the same processes and forces and, well, the environment, is
similar that it is all too easy, and all too natural, to see this 'arrow
of time' in both processes, even when, in both instances, it is all sheer
    accident, coincidence, and chaos.

The most wonderful Connections series by James Burke is a telling
compendium of the environment of design and technology and society. The
field of design is like the field of theatre- so many disciplines and
knowledges are required to be even close to a master of it. In their very
natures, design and theatre are a consilience of all human endeavors. And
    invention demands mothering us all.

    - Wade
