Why do you reply this to my post? I agree that selection
is the fundamental part of evolution. WHAT gets selected
is the point. In the gene-world it's dna. And in the meme-world
it's memes. And imitation is a part of memetics. It's a copying function.
Evolution is the general theory behind both darwinism and memetics
but there are differences between the two which you try to overlook.
