    Hi Bill, Scott, Wade, Robin,

    Absolutely true !
But, don 't forget that Islam is the " last " of the three great religions!
Mohammed was the last prophet and therefor his words are considered
as binding. From religion- sake there are no- more words left where
anyone of us can retract ' belief ' from.
If you do, those words were added and therefor no words of God.
From an Islamitic point of view, Christianity and Judaism were just
experiments,... the true belief is Islam !!

Another point which we must keep in mind, though, is that we, the West,
in these Post- Modern times, in our democracies excuse any ideology,
( be tolerant) and therefor give, some, legitimacy to a wide variety of
    causes and rebellions.
I know, that is no reason to attack us with planes and biological weapons,
but in a way those who were repressed strike back and did so many
times before. We did nothing, we turned the other cheek and tried to
solve any conflict with diplomacy and discussion.
Those terrorists let us now see how vulnerable we really are, how afraid
    we are.
In a sense we must take a ' higher ' risk, bombing Afghanistan is no
solution. We must, like Blair said, reflect, consider and change. The world
community must show as mush its capacity for compassion as for force.

IMO, the West must show its force, the world must show its force.
