I most certainly did not inform you I filter out anyone I don't agree with.
To the contrary, I filter out messages from people who make large numbers of
posts that I judge are not worth my time to sort through looking for an
occasional point of interest to me. That is not an uncommon practice for
Internet groups and I do it sparingly.
Tim is the last person to fall into that category. His posts are pithy,
short, and witty.

I wouldn't bother posting critical comments to Richard if I were you. I've
just been at the end of lengthy personal attack from Richard, where he
informed me he basically filters out anyone he doesn't agree with (that
includes you Kenneth, for what reason I don't know), and in this case anyone
who might in any way be seen to be having a problem with the annihilation of
Bin Laden and his supporters.
Waht you say here, was the point I tried to make to Richard that prompted
his criticism of me. I think you're right, there is that risk of martyrdom,
with who knows what possible long term consequences.
