Really important questions would be *who* the responsible parties were and
*where* their associates are now. It seems fingers are pointing toward bin
Laden.
I'm dumbfounded. I talked to a friend who lives in New York last night and
was so happy just to hear his voice. It took him 8 hours to get home from
work. He wasn't in the middle of it. I can't even imagine what the people
with loved ones who were injured or killed due to the terrorist attacks on
NY and DC are dealing with right now.
Why questions could, if Islamic jihad terrorists are indeed responsible,
involve US policies toward Israel over the years and our military
involvements in Iraq among other things. I was trying to be moderate on the
Israel-Palestine issue before these incidents. I was even thinking
critically toward Israel. Now I'm gravitating toward Israel.
