Hmmm. I did a little web search on that question. Looking at the data of
one test on 7th graders at
http://www.neodesha.com/neodesha/QPA/IQ/IQ.html
I did not see any discernable trend. In '69 and '70 the average scores
were 102. The '98 and '99 averages were 96.1 and 98.5, but the average
in '96 was 109.
